BERYL var. AQUAMARINE
Stock #4578

Erongo Mountains, Namibia

This single tabular crystal is almost a floater.  It has a small section on the back that looks like may had feldspar that was naturally etched away.  The complete, double termination and lack of damage really show off the thin, tabular habit of this new find!

HUBNERITE
Stock #4397

Casapalca mine, Huarochiri Province, Lima Department, Peru

These lustrous, bladed crystals grew on pyrite which broke off during mining.  It is an unusual occurrence for the mines of Peru, and only a limited amount of this material made it to the market.  Tungsten is not an abundant element it the replacement deposits of the high Andes.  These hubnerites were mined about 2 years ago.
